Operations Manager for food start-up

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your main tasks include:

  • Managing the quality level of the co-manufacturer on a consistent basis
  • New project development: sourcing of ingredients, project management 
  • Translating forecasts into annual order schedules
  • Manage new packaging development activities (for example on valentines day, Easter, Christmas, etc.)
  • Cost analysis
  • Quality management from a supplier

In the long term, you will also be responsible for managing stakeholder relationships and de-risk the current process by sourcing alternative suppliers/co-packers and building internal capabilities (for example: small test kitchen).

Who are you? 

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a similar role 
  • Preferably you’ve worked for an FMCG company or a luxury brand 
  • You have strong communication skills to negotiate with suppliers and important stakeholders
  • You are fluent in at least Dutch or French. English is a strong asset!
